Hey, everybody!
In this post, I wanted to do something a bit different: I want to call attention to a client of mine, Susan Davis. Susan and I have been working together for several years now, and it's been a real pleasure to watch her grow as an author and see where her imagination takes her.
One of the series she's created - The Dacian Wildcat series - has been a particularly interesting bit of editing for me. In case you're unaware (as I was when we first started working together), the Roman Emperor, Trajan, invaded and conquered a region known as Dacia (now in present-day Romania). Susan's series follows the life of a Dacian boy who was taken by Roman soldiers when his village was ransacked, and, I must say, it's been a series full of surprises. What strikes me most about Susan is her ability to create endearing and relatable characters.
So if you have a pre-teen kid who is interested in Romans and the like, please go to her Amazon page and show her some support. She deserves a bit of recognition for her work.
You can find the first book of the series here.
